How to Use Facebook Business Manager: A Step-by-Step Guide

I know that most of you think that people don’t like to buy when they are on Facebook just to interact with their friends and family.
I will show you how exactly you can make people buy on Facebook.

I am going to reveal all my secrets that will help you grow and help you scale more.


But, I want to mention that I am going to start from a very basic level to advance level. So, if you are already semi-pro in Facebook Ads then you can skip through.

How do Facebook Ads work?

The most important thing that you must know about Ad placement is:


Right Column Ads:
These Ads are on the extreme right as you scroll the newsfeed.


These ads are often very low converting, at least for me anyways.

Newsfeed Ads:

The Ads that you see whenever you scroll through your feed. These are the most converting for me when it comes to Facebook or Instagram.

The most important thing in Facebook Ads is Ad creative. It is the bread and butter of the ad. You should know how to create the best Facebook Ad design.

Make sure that your ad design is good looking enough to grab people’s attention quickly.

Let’s start with Business Manager first.

At this point, most of you must be thinking “if I can Boost a post directly from the page” then why do I need to create a Facebook Business Manager account?

Here’s why!

You would get the following features if you have Business Manager

  • Data: If you are going to run Ads through boost post option then you won’t have access to detailed data about your ad and you will not be able to scale in the future.
  • Can create a post with CTA(Call to Action) like Shop Now, Learn More etc.
  • Adding multiple businesses.
  • Tracking options like the pixel.
  • Adding multiple people and handling their rights.

I know that in the beginning, it is not easy to interact with the Business Manager. But, after some time you will be familiar with the interface.


Here is a step by step guide for creating a Facebook Business Manager account.

Step 1
Go to business.facebook.com and click Create Account

Step 2

Just login into your Facebook Account.

Step 3:

Click create Account as the next screen appears.

Step 4:

Just fill the form, provide your name, and the email.

Step 5:
It will ask you for the relevant instructions like your Address, Business Number. Fill out all the information.

 

Now you have successfully created the Business Manager.

Step 1:
In the top bar, you can see the gear icon. Just click it.

Step 2:

Click pages from the left sidebar and click Add

Step 3:

Click Add a page from the selected options

Right the name of the page that you want to Add

The page would be Added in this way.

You must have Admin rights of that page if you are looking to Add the page in Business Manager.

Step 1:

First, click Ad Accounts from the left pane and click Add.

Step 2:
Now click “Create a New Ad Account” from the available options.

Step 3:

Give a name to the Ad Account and click Create Ad Account.

This is how you can create Ad Account. Now comes the really important part, Payment Method. If you Add one payment method you can use this on as many Ad Accounts as you want.

Step 1:

Scroll and you will see the payments option, where you can add the payment method.

Step 2:
Just click Add
Step 3:

Now add your financial details.

Add People in Business Manager:

Now, let me show you how you can manage rights in your Ads Manager.

  • You can Add multiple people.
  • Can manage their rights.

Step 1:

Select people from the left side and click Add from the top

Step 2:

Provide the email of the people you want to invite. Give them rights like Admin or Employee.

When you add people, make sure that you do not give them the rights to edit finance details. Keep your financial rights to yourself only or someone you trust entirely.
